We use cookies in three broad categories.
These make the site work — page delivery, security and load balancing. They cannot be switched off through our site, and they do not require your consent.
These tell us which pages and codes are used, so we know what to keep testing and what to drop. They are only set with your consent, and we use them in aggregate rather than to identify you.
When you click through to a retailer, an affiliate network may set a cookie so a resulting purchase can be attributed to us and we are paid the commission. This is how the site is funded. These cookies are set by the network or retailer, not by us, and they are governed by that company’s own privacy policy.

Blocking all cookies will not stop you reading the site, but affiliate tracking will usually fail. That does not cost you anything — the discount still applies — it simply means we are not credited for the referral.
